Hello and welcome! My name is Amber Alston and I’m a Recreational Therapy student at Old Dominion University with an anticipated graduation of May 2026. The purpose of this website is to showcase my accolades, academic history, and accomplishments as an undergrad student. I went above and beyond in my academic career to cater to my community, peers and held myself at the highest academic standard possible. I am a compassionate, creative, people person who loves to problem-solve, help those around me and hope this website showcases just that. ABOUT
I am a Virginia native from Newport News. With a major in recreational therapy and a minor in psychology, I plan to get my CTRS certification shortly after graduating. Whether its painting, yoga, dancing, or acting I’ve always loved the arts. I know that with my creativity, innovativeness, and artistic mindset I will excel at becoming and Recreational Therapist and make a meaningful impact on the future clients and families I will serve.
